The Parks & Recreation Department provides residents and visitors with many varieties of youth and adult recreation leagues, family-friendly events, and spacious parks with unique, interactive amenities.

Little Princess Dance

Princesses, kings, and other royal family are invited to an enchanting evening filled with fun, treats, music, photos, goodie bags, and a lovely carnation.

Join us on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ferndale High School, located at 881 Pinecrest Drive. 

Register at bit.ly/ferndaleparksandrecevents. Tickets are $15 per person until Friday, January 24, 2025, and will then increase to $20 per person. We hope to see you there!

How do I report an issue at a park?

If it is a police matter, please call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 248-541-3650, or 911 if it is an emergency.

If there is a concern regarding parks maintenance, sanitation, or other similar areas, please report it to the SeeClickFix portal.

How can I bring my dog to the dog park?

The Ferndale Dog Park located at Wilson Park is only available to registered members. Dog Park membership is available to both residents and non-residents who have completed the required on-demand Dog Park Safety Course offered virtually by K9 Turbo Training. The membership fee is $40 for residents and $65 for non-residents. The park features several amenities for Ferndale's four-legged friends and their owners, including safe key fob access, fenced play areas for large and small dogs, sitting areas, dog water stations, waste pickup stations, urine-resistant shrubbery, and more.

Can I rent a City park?
